Amenity Decks and Streetscape Improvements | Chicago, Illinois

When Kinect (500 North Milwaukee) was sold to Newcastle Limited, they turned to the original design team of Pappageorge Haymes and Hitchcock Design Group to make improvements to the existing amenity decks and streetscape. The development now known as Reside on Green Street includes two separate buildings, consisting of both apartments and first floor retail, that function as a single unit for the residents. The original amenity decks were value engineered during design so updates to the decks include new furniture, an overhead pergola, built in grills and counters, an outdoor bar and kitchen, planters, lighting, TVs, updated finishes, and other site and landscape improvements. Streetscape improvements include railings within the planters, updated landscape, and additional planters and plantings at the corner of Milwaukee Avenue and Grand Avenue.
