Pickleball Courts & Golf Range | Lockport, Illinois

The Lockport Township Park District partnered with Hitchcock Design Group on an ambitious project to enhance their sports facilities. This two-part initiative was designed to create a community-friendly environment with new pickleball courts and a state-of-the-art driving range facility. For the pickleball courts, the design emphasized social interaction and comfort, featuring a 6-court layout equipped with shade sails, windscreens, various seating options, and convenient parking access. This setup not only meets the needs of players but also elevates the overall social experience, making it an ideal venue for pickleball enthusiasts. On the golf side, the project included a driving range equipped with a cutting-edge ball tracking system, designed in collaboration with the architect and vendor. The driving range structure was strategically positioned to integrate seamlessly with walkways and parking, offering year-round entertainment with both digital and traditional driving range options. The facilities are designed to provide an inclusive and engaging experience for visitors throughout the year.
