Urban Design Master Plan | Austin, Texas

This new 400-acre mixed-use site is located on the southwest side of Austin, near the airport, and will be connected by light rail to the airport and downtown Austin. Hitchcock Design Group was engaged to create a design that would incorporate the natural environment of the project site and connect the natural systems with newly-planned social activities to give the development an urban environment despite its distance from the existing city center. The new master plan includes space for retail, residential living, hospitality, corporate and medical offices, light industrial facilities, arts, and entertainment.
