Growing up in a rural community surrounded by dairy farms, Emily developed a deep appreciation for the land and its role in our lives. Inspired by her family’s connection to nature and their emphasis on sustainable land stewardship, she chose a career focused on shaping how we interact with and enjoy our environments. Emily earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) and a minor in Sustainability from Iowa State University, where she nurtured her passion for designing innovative and thoughtful outdoor spaces. With years of experience in high-end residential design and large-scale commercial projects, Emily has honed her skills in CAD, 3D rendering, and hand rendering, establishing herself as a versatile and detail-oriented designer. Outside of work, Emily is an avid traveler and passionate foodie who enjoys exploring new cultures through food. She also loves diving into books and podcasts that inspire fresh ideas and broaden her perspective on the world around her.
